Vildkildegaard is a guesthouse built for dog people. Here you get the combination every retriever owner dreams of: peaceful surroundings, modern facilities and training grounds right outside the door. Whether you come alone, with training friends or as a full group, everything is set up for a weekend filled with quality training and great experiences.

8 guest rooms – designed for dogs and their owners On the second floor you’ll find 8 rooms, including 2 double rooms. Each room has its own dog gate, allowing your dog to stay safely and calmly in the room.

• Maximum 3 dogs per room • Dogs must stay behind the gate • If your dog cannot relax there, please bring your own crate or keep the dog in the car • Dogs are not allowed in indoor common areas

This ensures a calm, professional and well‑organized environment for everyone staying in the house.

Full self‑catering – freedom to plan your day The large, modern kitchen gives you the flexibility to cook whenever it suits you. If you prefer to order food, you are welcome to arrange delivery from nearby options such as Kibæk. Freedom and flexibility are key at Vildkildegaard.

The Winter Garden – the heart of the house This is where guests gather around the long table, with a fireplace, beautiful views and a warm atmosphere. A natural meeting point after a day in the training grounds.

Training options for every need At Vildkildegaard, you choose how you want to train: • Stay and train on your own • Come as a group with your own instructor • Book Trond for private lessons, half‑day or full‑day training

This makes the house ideal for courses, training weekends, kennel gatherings and focused retriever work.

Terrain included in your stay If you stay in the house, access to the training grounds is included. You may use the areas from 09:00–17:00 on the day you are booked in. External training guests: 100 DKK per person per day.

Prices

Single room: 700 DKK per night

Double room: 900 DKK per night

Kennel gatherings / training weekends (all rooms): 4 900 DKK per night
